Open ralphiestudios.com1 The Brief
Ralphie Studios is an independent development studio creating games, apps and digital experiences with a particular passion for sport. The studio needed a home online — somewhere that could present finished projects alongside those in active development, and do it in a way that matched the quality of the work being built.
The site needed to feel bold and purposeful — not a generic portfolio template, but something that felt like it belonged to a studio that builds from scratch and sweats the details. The kind of place someone lands and immediately understands what Ralphie Studios is about.
As a personal project, I had full creative control — which made it an opportunity to push the design further than a standard client brief would allow.
2 What I Built
- Bespoke studio website — designed and built from scratch to reflect the identity of an independent studio that cares about craft
- Project showcase — live and in-development projects presented clearly, with enough detail to generate genuine interest
- Wheelchair Rugby League game feature — prominent placement for the studio's flagship in-development title, the first WRL video game built in Unreal Engine 5
- BaizeBoard integration — showcases the studio's released snooker scoreboard app, with links to the live web app and Google Play Store listing
- Fully responsive — works cleanly across mobile, tablet and desktop without compromise
- Hosted on Cloudflare — fast global load times, enterprise-grade security, and managed deployment via GitHub
The Result
A studio home that does justice to the work inside it.
Ralphie Studios now has an online presence that matches its ambition — presenting both released and in-development projects with the detail and confidence they deserve. The site acts as a hub for the studio's output, from BaizeBoard already live on Android and Web, to the Wheelchair Rugby League game currently in development in Unreal Engine 5. As a personal project it also gave me the freedom to push my own design further — and the result is something I'm genuinely proud to have in my own portfolio.
